Henry Ford College: Money Moves June Workshops

HFC is launching “Money Moves: the Entrepreneur Workshop Series,” a free, high-energy summer program designed to equip aspiring founders, small business owners, and students with the practical skills needed to generate sustainable revenue for your business. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be affiliated with Henry Ford College.

Hosted by the Entrepreneurship Hub and facilitated by banking veteran Lysa Davis, this three-part series will be in Room E-146 on the first floor of the Technology Building (Building E on the main campus):

  • Wednesday, June 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.: “Sell to Survive: The Art and Science of Making Money.” The focus of this workshop is identifying customers, pricing for profit, closing sales with confidence, and delivering a 60-second pitch that captures people’s attention.
  • Wednesday, June 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.: “Contracts & Cash: How to Win Government Business.” The focus of this workshop is demystifying procurement at the city, county, state, and federal levels while using certifications like MBEWBE, and DBE to gain a competitive edge.
  • Wednesday, June 24, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.: “Scroll to Sold: Turning Social Media into Revenue.” The focus of this workshop is building content that converts followers into paying customers.

These events are open to everyone. The sessions are each unique, but you can still attend even if you cannot make it to all three sessions. Parking is free and near the building.
