Henry Ford Medical Center – Fairlane offers nearly 30 specialty services, including allergy, audiology, cancer care, cosmetic and plastic surgery, ENT, rehabilitation services (physical therapy, occupational therapy), orthopedics, urology, and vascular surgery to name a few. Other on-site services include laboratory, pharmacy and radiology. There also is a Walk-In Clinic for non-emergency medical concerns like fever, eye infections, rashes, cough, deep cuts and fractures.
This medical center (one of 9 in the Henry Ford Health System) is one of the busiest freestanding ERs in the country. In July of 2020, a $15M renovation of the ER created 26 new private rooms, two additional nursing stations, and a fast-track triage area for treating minor ailments.
