For two years, Dan Fayad, has been General Manager at Fairllane Town Center — managing the finances, security, leasing, and day-to-day operations of a mamoth facility … and doing it during a time of great change for Fairlane and for similar properties nationwide.
In addition to the specific skills and responsibilities required of the job, the biggest demand on anybody like Dan is honing and exercising leadership skills.
In the May/June edition of DBusiness, Dan Fayad is recognized as a member of the group “30 in Their Thirties.” The 2023 “30 in Their Thirties” class is, according to DBusiness, “opening new frontiers across mutiple business sectors.”
Mr. Fayad, a Henry Ford College graduate, leads with an “it’s all in the details” approach. As the peron responsible for every detail of day-to-day operations, Dan has seen an increase in mall occupany — from 71% when he joined 16 months ago — to 94% today.
Remarking that “you’re only as good as the leadership on the ground,” Dan is a great example of how being involved in and owning the details is a skill that drives results that can be measured.
The Dearborn Area Chamber has long benefitted from Dan’s skills and dedication thanks to his years serving on the Board of Directors. We are looking forward to his upcoming term as Chamber Board Chair in 2024.
