Dearborn, MI: 100 historic vehicles will cruise the streets of Dearborn to kick off the festivities at the 2015 Dearborn Homecoming Festival for “Cruisin’ Dearborn” on Friday, August 7, 2015. The cruise, presented by Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac will begin at 7 pm at the Dearborn Police Department and will run along Michigan Ave. through Downtown West Dearborn, ending at Ford Field Park for a fun classic car show with plenty of food and entertainment! The classic cars will be on show until 10:00 pm at the Dearborn Homecoming Festival at Ford Field Park in Dearborn.
“Cruisers from all over Metro Detroit are thrilled each year to have the opportunity to join in on all of the fun of “Cruisin’ Dearborn” at the Dearborn Homecoming Festival,” commented Dearborn Area Chamber President Jackie Lovejoy.
This year, the cruise is limited to 100 classic cruisers, who will all receive a certificate of participation, a dash plaque, sponsored by Heartland of Allen Park & Dearborn Heights, and cruiser gift bag, sponsored by Jack Demmer Lincoln. Also supporting the event this year is Morse Moving and Right at Home of Dearborn/Downriver.
The parade is scheduled to be led by Dearborn Mayor Jack O’Reilly and Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko. The car show following the cruise will feature an exciting classic Chevrolet display from Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac in Dearborn! A “Best in Show” award will also be presented at this year’s event.

Registration for Cruisin’ Dearborn is only $20 per vehicle, and includes a $5 voucher to be used at the nonprofit food vendor tents at the Dearborn Homecoming Festival.
